Established in 2003, Thandeka Vocational Education Trust (Pty) Ltd is an accredited private education and vocational training skills development provider, operating nationally, across a range of sectors inclusive of clothing, textiles, general manufacturing and wholesale and retail . We are committed to excellence and integrity through our core guiding principle of continuous improvement. To this end, we ensure that our course curriculum content is relevant and that our facilitation team are subject matter experts with extensive industry related experience.
TVET SA has adopted an agile and flexible approach to our training implementation.
TVET SA has a national footprint and has facilitated skills development throughout Southern Africa.
Training is conducted at our industry-aligned and well equipped training facilities in Maitland, Cape Town. We also train in-factory – turning ordinary workplaces into training spaces country-wide.
Whilst overseeing TVET SA’s operational and financial management, Jennifer strives to ensure good corporate governance and compliance and drives the achievement of the organisation’s strategic objectives. Jennifer believes in positive employee engagement and with her at the helm, the TVET SA team they motivate and upskill their clients with excellent service and professionalism.
Not only a founding member of the college, Theresa also serves on the Board of the FP&M SETA and is a registered Qualifications Development Facilitator. She is responsible for the development of relevant occupational qualifications and industry aligned training programmes. She applies her extensive experience in workplace skills planning while assisting client companies submit their mandatory and discretionary grant applications.
Heading up the very organised and versatile administrative team at our Head Office is the very capable Natasha. Her experience in administrative management and attention to detail are invaluable to TVET SA. Natasha also manages a range of projects that are implemented across South Africa, providing guidance and support to our facilitation team.

I AM EMPOWERED has established an incubator at the premises of Thandeka Vocational Education Trust (Pty) Ltd, our accredited skills development partner of choice.
The Incubator Project currently provides cut, make and trim services to an established clothing manufacturer, who is a preferred supplier of a national clothing retailer.
The purpose of the policy is to ensure a safe working environment at Thandeka Vocational Education Trust (Pty) Ltd (TVET SA) for all of our stakeholders, employees and learners alike, and to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
