Established in 2003, Thandeka Vocational Education Trust (Pty) Ltd is an accredited private education and vocational training provider, operating nationwide, across a range of sectors inclusive of clothing, home textiles, and general goods.
We are committed to excellence in the delivery of our industry-aligned learning programme offerings. Thus, we ensure that our course curriculum content remains relevant and aligned with local and global standards and best practices.
Our facilitation team is subject matter experts with extensive industry-related experience and in our pursuit of continuous improvement, we have implemented a total quality management system.
Our methodology is focused on working with our retail and manufacturing partners. Together we encourage the implementation of world-class manufacturing standards and processes to strengthen the capacity of our local supply chain and meet the goals set out in the R-CTFL Masterplan 2030.
A major focus area is empowering learners, be it workers in the sector or unemployed youth, by equipping them with relevant workplace knowledge and technical skills, and increasing their employability and growth in the formal and informal sectors.

Whilst overseeing TVET SA’s operational and financial management, Jennifer strives to ensure good corporate governance and compliance. In doing this, she drives the achievement of the organisation’s strategic objectives. Jennifer believes in positive employee engagement. With her at the helm, the TVET SA team motivates and upskills their clients with excellent service and professionalism.
As a founding member of the college, Theresa also serves on the board of the FP&M SETA and is a registered qualifications development facilitator. She is responsible for the development of relevant occupational qualifications and industry-aligned training programmes. She applies her extensive experience in workplace skills planning while assisting client companies to submit their mandatory and discretionary grant applications.
Heading up the organised and versatile administrative team at our head office is the very capable Natasha. Her experience in administrative management and attention to detail are invaluable to TVET SA. Natasha also manages a range of projects that are implemented across South Africa, providing guidance and support to our facilitation team.
