TVET SA offers full-service solutions to help your business and your value chain partners to align themselves to the R-CTFL Master Plan, including world-class manufacturing training interventions, total quality interventions, junior management development programmes, and team leader development.
A learnership is a work-based learning programme that leads to an NQF registered qualification and is aligned to occupations.
Learnerships are usually implemented over 9 to 12 months and comprise of theory and practical training, as well as structured workplace experience.
Annually, SETAs advertise Discretionary Grant Funding Windows, allowing registered and qualifying employers to apply for funding for learning programmes. In the case of the FP&M SETA, discretionary grant applications are due on 30 April of each year.
Learning programme grants have fixed values and serve to partially fund the total cost of training (e.g. the cost of an external provider, internal expenditure relating to the implementation of workplace-based training, stipends for unemployed learners, etc).
TVET SA offers credit-bearing skills programmes aligned to NQF level 1 – 3 qualifications. Skills programmes are usually implemented over 3 – 6 months. We also offer tailor-made short courses.
